What was once a liquid glob of molten glass is now a little abstract figurine of a pig! Made based on ancient traditional glassblowing techniques, this lovely simple figurine is my take on a classic thing that craftspeople create in handmade glass. This item measures 1.5” wide, 2.5” long, and 2” tall. This little glass animal is an incredible way to add a charismatic creature companion to your home or desk decor setup, figurine collection, or D&D game!
What makes this item second-quality is the little bit of texture on the body of the figurine. When transferring to the cooling kiln this Pig Figurine was still a little bit too hot, so the “grabbers” used to hold and transfer it left a faint imprint of woven fabric on the body of the pig. Though unintended, this little imperfection does not detract from the piece aside from changing the aesthetics, and it does tell a visual story of the handmade process!
