Prismatic objects like squares and rectangles have a notorious reputation in the world of glassmaking. Due to the physical properties of molten glass, making objects with flat sides and hard corners is a challenge—but doing so creates some uniquely beautiful optical effects which make it well worth the effort. The corners and faces of the outer layer of clear glass refract and distort the image of both the color within the object and the world around it in ways that are incredible to witness and watch change as you observe it from different angles.
Prismatic Paperweights are fully attached to their base for stable and convenient display. Use as a paperweight or as a decorative object to make any room instantly more artistic and intriguing! There will be some variation in final measurements since each object is fully handcrafted, but expect the average Prismatic Paperweight to be 4-4.5” tall and around 2.5” wide.

1) Fire mix: A vibrant mix of red, orange, and yellow colors meant to evoke the radiant warmth of fire.
2) Water mix: Two blues mixed together to create an aesthetically pleasing opaque watery mixture.
3) Earth mix: The combination of a lighter brown and a darker, earthier brown to achieve a visually rich and intriguing look.
4) Grass mix: Three green colors mixed together to create a complex palette of effects that complexly interpret grassy texture.
5) Lovers’ Quarrel mix: These red and pink colors are like ill-fated lovers—they go together beautifully, but have trouble mixing. Where the colors meet, a stormy gray color appears, creating a complex and vivid color experience.
6) Melted Marshmallows mix: This mix feels remarkably like green, blue, and pink marshmallows were melted down, mixed together, and suspended in glass. Creates a pastel-tone mix with a creamy texture that has a lovely springtime feel.
7) Witch’s Brew: A Halloween-inspired mixture of purple and orange.
8) Dusk mix: A combination of red and sparkling aventurine green.
9) Midnight rose mix: A visually-striking mixture of black and pink colors.
10) Starry Night mix: The color Night Sky mixed with sparkling aventurine green for a delicately beautiful effect.
11) Space mix: Night Sky purple and sparkling aventurine green over a layer of black—looks really cool up close.
12) Clear bubble feature: This option is fully clear glass, and features a unique pattern of air bubbles trapped within the object to provide intriguing visual texture.
